Cottages and waterfront in Billings
Billings was incorporated in 1884. Kagawong is its one village, a small harbour on Mudge Bay with a lighthouse that has been in service since 1888. The Kagawong River runs from Lake Kagawong over Bridal Veil Falls to the bay, and the falls are the most visited spot in the township. Cottages are found on Lake Kagawong and along the North Channel shore, which has several sand beaches. Kagawong is also a handy port for the Benjamin Islands.
