Minden Hills sits in the southwest of the county along Highway 35, which makes it one of the shorter drives from the south. The village of Minden is on the Gull River and has the main shops and services. Waterfront ranges from large lakes such as Gull and Twelve Mile to smaller lakes and river frontage. The west end of the five-lake chain, around Canning Lake and Ingoldsby, is also here.
