What Kashagawigamog Lake is like
Kashagawigamog is a long, narrow lake with two basins joined by a channel. It is the middle of a five-lake chain with Head, Grass, Soyers and Canning lakes, so boaters can travel to Haliburton village for lunch or supplies. The shoreline is well developed, with cottages, year-round homes and resorts along County Road 21. A dam at Canning Lake controls the water level for the chain.
