What Lake Kagawong is like
Lake Kagawong lies in the central part of Manitoulin, south of the village of Kagawong. Its outlet, the Kagawong River, drops over Bridal Veil Falls on its way to Mudge Bay and the North Channel. The lake is deep, with several islands, and is usually frozen from December into spring. Cottages and camps are found along the north end near Kagawong and at Long Bay in the south. Kagawong and Mindemoya are the closest villages.
