Cottages and waterfront in Tehkummah
Tehkummah was incorporated in 1881. South Baymouth is its best known community, a small village built around the ferry dock where Highway 6 picks up again and heads north across the island. The hamlet of Tehkummah is the township centre. This is a quiet, rural corner of Manitoulin with Lake Huron shoreline, a few cottage roads and farmland. For buyers arriving by ferry, it is the first part of the island they see.
