Cottages and waterfront in Blind River
Blind River was incorporated in 1906 and sits on the North Channel of Lake Huron, about halfway between Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie. The town has a marina, shops and a hospital, and serves as the supply point for cottagers in the area. Waterfront includes homes on the channel and on the Blind and Mississagi rivers. Matinenda Lake, about 15 km north of town, is the centre of a large provincial park with no visitor facilities.
