Cottages and waterfront in St.-Charles
The Municipality of St.-Charles was created in 1999 from the townships of Casimir, Jennings and Appleby, plus a strip of land on the West Arm of Lake Nipissing. The village of St. Charles is the centre, surrounded by farms and bush. The West Arm is the draw for cottage buyers. It is a long, sheltered part of Lake Nipissing with many bays and islands, and it is reached by Highway 535.
