What Rice Lake is like
Rice Lake lies south of Peterborough and north of Cobourg. The Otonabee River flows in and the Trent River flows out at Hastings. Bewdley is at the west end. Keene and Bailieboro are near the north shore, and Gores Landing, Harwood and Roseneath are on the Northumberland side. The lake is about 5 km wide, with many islands that are drowned drumlins.
