Cottages and waterfront in Wasaga Beach
Wasaga Beach is often described as the longest freshwater beach in the world, and its beaches form Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. Cottages first went up here in the early 1900s. Today most cottages are not on the water but sit close together on side streets a short walk from the sand. Buyers also find homes and cottages along the Nottawasaga River, with boat access out to the bay. The town has full services and a large seasonal population.
