What Lake of Bays is like
Lake of Bays is one of the largest lakes in Muskoka. Most of it is in the Township of Lake of Bays, and the southwest arm reaches into the Town of Huntsville. The water is deep, cold and clear, and the many bays give sheltered frontage along a long shoreline. Bigwin Island is the largest island. Lake trout and smallmouth bass are the main sport fish. Baysville, Dwight and Dorset have marinas, groceries and fuel.
