Whitestone covers more than 900 square kilometres of forest and lakes northeast of Parry Sound. Dunchurch, on Whitestone Lake where Highways 124 and 520 meet, holds the municipal office, library and nursing station. Wahwashkesh Lake, the largest lake in the district, lies to the north and has many water access cottages. Lorimer Lake and Shawanaga Lake are also in the municipality. This is a good area for buyers who want space and privacy.
