What Whitestone Lake is like
Whitestone Lake is the home lake of Dunchurch, the main community in the Municipality of Whitestone. Two narrows at Dunchurch separate the north reach of the lake from the middle reach. The lake drains through the Magnetawan River system to Georgian Bay. Highways 124 and 520 both pass through Dunchurch, so road access is good by local standards. The village has the municipal office, a library and a nursing station.
