Cottages and waterfront in Perry
Perry Township sits just north of the Muskoka boundary, with Novar, Scotia and Emsdale strung along Highway 11. After logging faded around 1920, the local economy turned toward tourism and cottages. The township has a number of small and mid sized lakes with road access, and Huntsville is close for shopping and health care. Highway 518 leaves Emsdale east to Kearney and west to Sprucedale. It is a practical choice for year-round lake living.
