Cottages and waterfront in Callander
Callander sits on Callander Bay, at the southeast end of Lake Nipissing. The municipality was formerly called North Himsworth. Waterfront homes and cottages line the bay and the south shore toward Wisawasa and Lighthouse Beach, reached by Highway 654. Many are lived in all year, since North Bay is only minutes away. The town is also known as the place where Dr. Dafoe, physician to the Dionne quintuplets, lived. His house is now a museum.
