Cottages and waterfront in Nipissing
The Township of Nipissing lies on the south shore of Lake Nipissing, around South Bay and the mouth of the South River. Highways 534 and 654 link the north part to Highway 11 at Powassan and Callander. Highway 522 crosses the south part through Commanda. Cottages are found on the Lake Nipissing shore and on smaller inland lakes. Restoule Provincial Park is a short drive west. The area is quiet, with basic services only.
