The hamlet of Golden Lake and the community of Deacon give access to Golden Lake, and Lake Dore lies about 6 km north of Eganville. The Bonnechere Caves are at Fourth Chute on the Bonnechere River. Waterfront is a mix of family cottages and year-round homes. Old rail lines now serve as snowmobile, ATV and cycling trails..
