What Lake Doré is like
Lake Doré, often written Lake Dore, lies in North Algona Wilberforce. Creeks feed it from the west and north, and the Snake River flows out at the northeast, where the small community of Lake Dore sits. The water eventually reaches the Ottawa River through the Muskrat River. The lake has three boat ramps and is used for boating and fishing for bass and northern pike. Cottages and year-round homes share the shore. Eganville is the nearest village.
