This township stretches from the village of Killaloe north to Round Lake, close to the eastern side of Algonquin Park. Round Lake is the main cottage lake, with Bonnechere Provincial Park on its northwestern shore and Foy Provincial Park on the east. The Bonnechere River links Round Lake to Golden Lake. Cottages are mostly traditional, on sandy or mixed shoreline. Killaloe has a small main street with groceries and fuel. Barry's Bay is the nearest hospital town.
