Cottages and waterfront in Laurentian Valley
Laurentian Valley was created in 2000 from the townships of Stafford-Pembroke and Alice and Fraser. It borders the Ottawa River, the City of Pembroke and the Town of Petawawa. River frontage is found east and west of the city, including Cotnam Island, mostly as year-round homes with docks. Inland the township is farmland and forest running back toward Algonquin Park. Pembroke supplies shopping and the regional hospital, so owners here are never far from services.
