What Wolfe Lake is like
Wolfe Lake is a few minutes from Westport but has none of the canal traffic of Upper Rideau. Its shoreline is a mix of cottages, farmland and forest, and the lake has eight named islands. A long-running summer camp also operates here. Anglers fish for bass, walleye, northern pike and whitefish. Westport is the nearest village for groceries, fuel and restaurants. It is a good option for buyers who like the Westport area and want a quieter lake.
