What Upper Beverley Lake is like
Upper Beverley Lake served as the mill pond for the Old Stone Mill, built at Delta in 1810 and now a national historic site. A dam in the village holds the lake about 3 m above its original level. It is shallow, about 7 m at the deepest, and warms quickly. Cottages are grouped in three areas, and most of the remaining shore is undeveloped. The main shoreline is about 22 km around. It suits paddlers and anglers.
