What Lower Beverley Lake is like
Lower Beverley is the larger and much deeper of the two Beverley lakes, reaching about 29 m. Its main shoreline is about 28 km around. Most cottages are on the eastern and southern shores, and the western side, including Oak and Lost bays, is less developed. Lower Beverley Lake Park in Delta is a large campground with a boat ramp. Morton Creek brings water in from the Rideau Canal dam at Morton, and Lyndhurst Creek carries it out.
