What Mary Lake is like
Mary Lake is in the south part of the Town of Huntsville. The North Branch of the Muskoka River enters at one end and leaves at the other, and a lock on the river lets boats travel to Fairy Lake and on to Huntsville. Port Sydney, at the south end, has a public beach and a village feel. The lake has eight islands, and Crown Island is the largest. Cottages and year-round homes line most of the shore.
