What Gloucester Pool is like
Gloucester Pool is a lake about 5 km northeast of Port Severn. It forms part of the boundary between the Township of Georgian Bay and Severn Township. The Severn River enters from Big Chute and water from Six Mile Lake comes in at Whites Falls. Boats can lock out at Port Severn to Georgian Bay. The shore is a mix of pine, oak and maple forest on granite slopes, with cottages along much of it.
