What Lauzon Lake is like
Lauzon Lake lies in the Township of The North Shore, close to Highway 17. The village of Algoma Mills sits on the narrow strip of land between the lake and the North Channel, and Lauzon Creek carries the outflow down to the channel. The lake has a mix of seasonal cottages and year-round homes, with road access from the highway. Blind River, a few minutes west, is the nearest town for groceries, fuel and a hospital.
