What Lake Mindemoya is like
Lake Mindemoya sits in the centre of Manitoulin Island next to the village of the same name. A pale marl bottom gives the water a colour that shifts from deep blue to light green. Treasure Island, in the middle, is described as the largest island in a lake on an island in a lake. The Mindemoya River drains the lake south to Providence Bay.
