Cottages and waterfront in Temagami
The Municipality of Temagami has fewer than 900 year-round residents over a very large area. The town of Temagami sits at the end of the northeast arm of Lake Temagami, with Finlayson Point Provincial Park beside it. The lake is the main draw, with island cottages, youth camps and lodges. Cassels Lake lies just east of town. Marten River, at the south end of the municipality, has a provincial park. Canoe routes and a fire tower lookout draw summer visitors.
