Cottages and waterfront in Mattawan
Mattawan has about 150 residents and no named villages. Addresses here are rural routes out of Mattawa. The Ottawa River forms its eastern side, and the Otto Holden Generating Station and dam are within its boundaries. A small ski hill at Mount Antoine reopened in 2015. Waterfront is scarce and consists of a few river and backcountry lake properties. It appeals to buyers who want privacy and bush more than a busy lake.
