Cottages and waterfront in Bonfield
Bonfield is a rural township of about 2,100 people. The village of Bonfield is at the northeast end of Lake Nosbonsing, where the Kaibuskong River flows out toward Lake Talon. Most of Lake Talon lies in the township, and much of its shore is protected inside Mattawa River Provincial Park. Cottages are found on Lake Nosbonsing, and on the south shore of Lake Talon. Highway 17 passes through Rutherglen, and North Bay is the nearest city.
