What Trout Lake is like
Trout Lake is about 11 km long, up to 4 km wide and reaches 69 m deep. The City of North Bay draws its drinking water from it. The north and west shores are in the city and the south shore is in East Ferris, near Corbeil. Homes here are mostly year-round, and some of the 25 or so islands hold cottages. The lake drains east into the Mattawa River. Lake trout and bass are the main sport fish.
