What Kushog Lake is like
Kushog Lake runs north to south through the former Stanhope Township. Ox Narrows divides it into a deeper northern section and a shallower southern one. Kushog Lake Road serves the west side and Highway 35 serves much of the east. Water leaves over the Buck Slides Dam to Boshkung Lake. Lake trout, bass, pike and walleye are all present. Carnarvon is the nearest place for basics.
