What Mountain Lake is like
This Mountain Lake is the one in Minden Hills, beside Highway 35. There are other lakes with the same name in Highlands East. Water flows in from Twelve Mile Lake at the north end and out to Horseshoe Lake, and boats can pass between Mountain and Horseshoe. The lake is deep, with steep drop-offs on the east side, and holds lake trout. Minden and Carnarvon are both a short drive.
