What Gull Lake is like
Gull Lake is the first big Haliburton lake most drivers pass on the way north. It lies on the Gull River south of Minden, and the community of Miners Bay sits at its southern end. The lake is close to 50 m deep and is managed for lake trout. Its location near Highway 35 keeps the drive short, and Minden is close for groceries, hardware and restaurants.
