What Halls Lake is like
Halls Lake sits just north of Boshkung Lake in Algonquin Highlands. The Kennisis River passes through it and drops over Buttermilk Falls on its way to Boshkung. The lake is known locally for deep, cold water and lake trout. Highway 35 passes close to the lake, which makes for easy access. Owners share a property owners association with the nearby Hawk lakes. Carnarvon is a few kilometres south.
