What Jack Lake is like
Jack Lake lies at the edge of the Canadian Shield in the northeast of the Kawarthas. It is about 6.3 km long, with long bays that include Sharpe, Brooks, Callahan and McCoy. Water leaves over a small dam at the south end into Jack Creek, which runs down to Stony Lake. Black crappie, bass, walleye and muskie are the main catches. Apsley, a short drive away on Highway 28, has supplies.
