What Lovesick Lake is like
Lovesick Lake sits between Lock 30 and Lock 28 on the Trent-Severn Waterway. Wolf, Grey Duck and Millage islands separate it from Lower Buckhorn Lake. Lock 30 is on an island and can only be reached by boat, which is unusual on the waterway. A dam above Burleigh Falls holds the lake level. Highway 28 crosses at Burleigh Falls, so the lake is easy to reach by road.
