What Belmont Lake is like
Belmont Lake sits at the southern edge of the Canadian Shield, which explains its rock shoreline and islands. It is about 7.5 km long and 3.1 km across at its widest. The Crowe River flows in from Cordova Lake and out toward Crowe Lake, and the North River comes in from Round Lake. Many older cottages remain, including about 45 on Big Island. Bass, walleye and pike are caught here.
