What Buckhorn Lake is like
Buckhorn Lake is about 14 km long and up to 7 km wide. Water arrives from Pigeon Lake through Gannon Narrows and from Chemong Lake through Harrington Narrows. A dam and Lock 31 at the village of Buckhorn lead down to Lower Buckhorn Lake. The three joined lakes give a long run of lock-free boating. Curve Lake First Nation is on the lake. Buckhorn has restaurants, shops and marinas.
