What Otty Lake is like
Otty Lake is the closest cottage lake to Perth, only a few minutes from town. It covers about 625 hectares and reaches roughly 27 m deep. The township counts about 500 seasonal and year-round residences on its shore, and many are now lived in full time. The lake drains through Jebbs Creek toward the Tay River. A municipal boat launch with a small parking area is at the southwest end. Bass and northern pike are the main sport fish.
