What Christie Lake is like
Christie Lake is one of the oldest cottage lakes in the Perth area. The Tay River flows in from Bobs Lake and out toward Glen Tay and Perth. The shoreline is long and irregular, with rock outcrops and steep cliffs along much of the north and south sides. Cottages range from early family camps to rebuilt four-season homes, and the lake has its own sailing club. A small public launch for small boats is on the southwest side.
