What Dalhousie Lake is like
Dalhousie Lake is a widening of the Mississippi River in the hilly western part of Lanark Highlands. The river enters at the west end and continues east toward the village of Lanark. Cottages and a small number of year-round homes sit along the shore roads, with a lakeside community that shares the lake name. Forested hills surround the lake.
