Cottages and waterfront in Havelock-Belmont-Methuen
Havelock, on Highway 7, is the service centre. North of the village the land turns to Canadian Shield, with forest, rock and a string of cottage lakes. Kasshabog is the best known. Round Lake and Belmont Lake are joined by the North River, and the Crowe River links Belmont with Cordova Lake and Crowe Lake. Part of Jack Lake is in the far north. None of these lakes are on the Trent-Severn Waterway.
