Cottages and waterfront in Fort Erie
Fort Erie is a town in Niagara Region, across the river from Buffalo. Crystal Beach is its cottage heart. An amusement park ran on the waterfront there from 1888 to 1989, and the streets around it are still full of small cottages. Ridgeway is the nearby main street. Bay Beach, Erie Beach and Waverly Beach are other lakefront areas, and the east side of town fronts the Niagara River.
