Cottages and waterfront in Central Elgin
Central Elgin was formed in 1998 from Yarmouth Township and the villages of Belmont and Port Stanley. Port Stanley is the reason most buyers look here. It is a working harbour at the mouth of Kettle Creek with sand beaches, shops and restaurants, and a housing stock that runs from old cottages to new lake-view homes. East and west of the village the shore rises to bluff. Sparta and Union are small inland communities.
