Cottages and waterfront in Pelee
The Township of Pelee covers Pelee Island, about 42 square kilometres of farmland, woods and shoreline in the west end of Lake Erie. Only a few hundred people live here all year, and the pace is slow. Cottages and small homes ring the shore, and the island has a winery and quiet roads for cycling. Ferries run from Leamington and Kingsville for most of the year, with flights from Windsor in winter.
