What Doe Lake is like
Doe Lake lies southwest of Burk's Falls, beside Highway 11. Locals divide it into Big Doe, Middle Doe and Little Doe. The hamlet of Katrine sits at the north tip and has a public beach, a picnic area and a small marina on the Little Doe section. The lake flows out to the Magnetawan River. Access is easy from the highway, and Burk's Falls is only a few minutes away for supplies.
