What Pickerel Lake is like
Pickerel Lake is in Armour Township, a short drive northeast of the village of Burk's Falls. It is one of several lakes on the east side of Highway 11, along with Jack Lake and Three Mile Lake. Lakeside cottages, campgrounds and a few small tourist businesses share the shore. The setting is wooded and quiet. Burk's Falls is the nearest place for groceries, fuel and hardware, and Huntsville is farther south on Highway 11.
