What Ahmic Lake is like
Ahmic Lake is part of the Magnetawan River waterway in the Almaguin Highlands. It runs about 19 km from the lock at Magnetawan to Ahmic Harbour, on Highway 124, and links to Neighick and Crawford lakes. The shore is largely natural, since many cottages have stayed in the same families for generations. Two long running swim camps face each other across the water. Fishing is varied, with walleye, bass and pike.
