Cottages and waterfront in Central Huron
Central Huron was formed in 2001 from the town of Clinton and the townships of Hullett and Goderich. It sits between the Bayfield River on the south and the Maitland River on the north. The Lake Huron side is a run of private cottage roads and lakefront subdivisions such as Blue Water Beach, set on the bluff with beach below. Clinton is the service town, a short drive inland from the shore.
