Cottages and waterfront in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh
Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh, often shortened to ACW, was formed in 2001 from three townships. Lake Huron is its western boundary and the Maitland River its southern one. The shore is lined with cottage roads and small lakeside communities, among them Port Albert, Sheppardton, Kintail, Kingsbridge and Amberley. Point Farms Provincial Park is on the lake north of Goderich. Lots tend to be larger and quieter than in the beach towns farther south.
